Custom Windows

Our customers have many varying reasons for choosing custom wood windows. Often we are duplicating the original design with energy efficient glass, weatherstripping and operating hardware. In other cases, such as new homes, the owners prefer the traditional look and lines of a historic wood window. Or the customer may choose a wood species, window size or design not available from other national manufacturers.

Regardless of the reason, we have the necessary experience and custom woodworking machinery that allows us to create a window that satisfies our customers' individual preferences.

We are proud to craft historic double hung windows. Choose from a variety of species including the most requested rot resistant South American mahogany.

Window Construction
Our historic wood bead glazing allows a thin true divided light muntin and mullion with a beveled "putty glazed" look on the exterior side. Combined with our 5/16" narrow site line insulated glass, a most efficient synergy of tradition and technology is achieved.

Balance System includes:

• Counter weight and pulley (chain or rope)
• Tape or concealed spring balance types
• Vinyl jamb liners (also available with tilt-turn functions)

Glazing options include:

• True divided lite with insulated glass and 1" muntins
• Authentic putty glazing with interior energy panel
• Wood bead glazing
• Restoration, decorative or specialty glass can be utilized
